DataSuper Package + Magento E-Commerce

DataSuper package is now Magento ready. If you plan to host Magento e-commerce store you can visit the following URL http://www.magentocommerce.com/

How to install Magento
Get the latest version in .zip or .tar.gz file from the Magento website. Extract using 7zip utility to you desktop.

Using your favorite FTP program, upload the Magento folder from your desktop to your public_html directory.

Set File Permissions.You will need to set the following folders and file to writable mode by the server:

    foldername/app/etc
    foldername/media
    foldername/var
    foldername/var/.htaccess

If you have downloaded the “full version” of Magento, the one with the sample store data, you will need to set all of the directories in the folder media to writable as well:

    foldername/media/catalog
    foldername/media/upload

You can use FTP utility like FileZilla and chmod above to 777

Finally, use your web browser to surf to the Magento installation wizard. If you’ve uploaded the Magento files to http://www.example.com/magento/, then the wizard will be located here: http://www.example.com/magento/install/

TM sasar keupayaan utama naik 30% setahun

KUALA LUMPUR 5 Nov. – Telekom Malaysia Bhd. (TM) menyasarkan keupayaan utama telekomunikasinya meningkat kepada 100 gigabait dalam tahun kewangan berakhir pada tahun ini berbanding 90 gigabait pada tahun lalu.

TM turut menyasarkan keupayaan itu meningkat sebanyak 30 gigabait pada tahun depan dan menjadikannya 130 gigabait, kata Ketua Pegawai Operasinya, Rozaimy Rahman.

Rozaimy berkata, pertumbuhan berkenaan dianggarkan meningkat 30 peratus setiap tahun kerana permintaan terhadap sektor Internet bertambah di seluruh dunia.

Beliau berkata demikian selepas menghadiri mesyuarat peringkat antarabangsa Capacity Asia 2008 di sini hari ini.

Rozaimy berkata, walaupun dunia mengalami keadaan krisis ekonomi, tetapi industri telekomunikasi menunjukkan prestasi yang baik kerana permintaannya tinggi.

“Orang ramai di seluruh dunia dilihat tetap memerlukan Internet kerana ia penyambung hubungan sesama manusia selain melawat dan melancong dari sesebuah negara ke sesebuah negara.

”Sempena krisis ekonomi dunia, saya lihat semakin ramai orang menggunakan Internet kerana cara itu lebih murah dan mudah,” kata beliau.
